Convert 1% of Visitors

How many visitors do you get to your website? How a conversion system can pay handsomely. I would like to show you something. This sounds impossible but when you look at the numbers you can’t dispute it.

Scenario: Printing Business

You have identified that a good client for your business spends $1,250 ( I have down played this a little to show the power of this system) every month on their marketing campaigns. They stay with you as a client for 3 years. I will make a couple of assumptions here.

  1. Client purchase value – $1,250/mth
  2. Average number of visits to the website – 300/mth
  3. The time they stay with you as a customer (life time) – 3 years

You can put your own figures in here. Most business owners would say that they could achieve a conversion rate of at least 1%, right? If you can get them on the phone the conversion can be a lot higher. If you convert 1% of the visitor, look what that’s worth to you. 1% of 300 = 3 new clients per month. Client spend $2,500 every 2 mths or $1,250/mth that’s 3 clients x $1,250 x 12 mths x 3 yrs = $135,000 The variables are

  • Number of visitors to the website –
  • The amount your clients spend monthly
  • Your conversion rate. Imagine if you could increase that to 10% ($1,350,000)
