Imagine, when the phone rings or you receive an email that it is coming from your ideal customer. You know, the right customer who doesn’t try to screw you over and is more than obliging when you are dealing with them.
They simply are a pleasure to deal with? We all have some of those customers, but not all our customers are like that.
Most business owners think this is all a dream or some sort of “internet marketing spin”, but when you target the type of customer you want for your Professional Services Business, you might not believe the results you achieve. Often you will see a shift from a lot of time spent answering phone inquiries to booking appointments.

In my business, the number of phone calls has reduced but the conversions have gone through the roof. So now we aren’t wasting time on phones pre-selling we are only talking to people who want our services.
The other reality is that this business is less reliant on Google for the customers to find it, people are finding us from all over the internet, because we are where they are looking so we make sure we get our message in front of them.
How often have we heard business owners say, “we have spent thousands of $$$$ on SEO and received heaps of new traffic but it’s all from Brazil” or some other irrelevant place. Or it might be for the wrong keywords.

Generating traffic to a website is the 2nd step in running a successful online business. Generating the right traffic is where the money is and therefore identifying who you wish to attract is the 1st step.
There are 3 main legs to getting the right customers
When this is done properly there is no need for specialist SEO because just the function of distributing the content properly will take care of that.
When the right content, being delivered in different formats (ie. video, text, audio etc) you are providing the same information in different formats so you will be reaching more people. Does that make sense?

I have now taken this further and made my website direct response. Now at any point there is an action you can take and it's consistent with why you are on the page in the first place.
